Signosaur drives fast, flexible growth with Cash Line

Through easy access to much-needed funds, ScotPac helped Signosaur consolidate debt, improve cash flow and fuel growth within the fast-paced printing and signage industry

The challenge

Signosaur is a small company, based in Brisbane, providing printing and signage services to businesses all over Australia. Founded in 2017 with a $100 initial investment, the business has grown steadily over the last seven years. But the small amount of start-up capital, coupled with difficulty obtaining funding for necessary upgrades, created significant cash flow challenges.

“If you’re building a business with no capital, trying to grow is near impossible,” explains Robert Penn, Managing Partner at Signosaur. “The biggest thing was trying to get our hands on as much debt as possible so we can grow to become a national supplier. The juggle has been difficult.”

To stimulate growth, Signosaur needed access to a fast, flexible funding solution that functioned like a line of credit, effectively giving the business cash on call for all future needs, without the need for property security or principal repayments.

Ejhay Dawaweng of Valiant Finance has been working with Robert for four years. He knew that Signosaur needed a long-term funding solution to achieve its full potential.

“We wanted to tighten up the screws and clean out the lines,” says Robert. “We needed the consistency and flexibility of a line of credit but couldn’t get one.”
